About the Author

Ava Crosson has been an avid writer since elementary school first filling grade school notebooks, then confining her work to the notes in her computer. She pursues mostly personal excerpts, poetry, and academic theses. She currently resides in Florida, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy with a minor in Mathematics and hopes to publish a novel she can tolerate reading without her self criticism inducing nausea.

The world does not need more thoughts shared.

I acknowledge that. Amongst news cycles, social media, articles, there is enough being said that nothing I add will be of use. I will not cure famine, stop wars, put an end to cultural tension or change anyones life. I am not deluded enough to believe that my thoughts are one of a kind nor inquisitive.

I don’t write this blog to be value added to the internet community.

I write out of complete and utter selfishness. I publish this blog with the complete acceptance that this endeavor takes from the world, its limited resource of space and time, and melds it into my doing and my want.

I have made my peace with this burden I inflict on both you, the reader, and I, the writer. So with this acceptance that my formation of this testament takes more than it will ever give, I apologize.

I apologize to the practitioners of grammar, those of the 21st Century like my father, who will find no relief within my posts. I apologize for the vague and innocuous distinctions I make that will leave you both confused and satisfied.

I am sorry.

(Not enough to prevent my publication, but I’m sure it still needed to be said.)
